Movie review

Julia Robe appears beautiful and almost always with legs well in view, as a “smart seal” type journalist. While covering a suspicious train derailment, she crosses the path of a veteran reporter (Nick Night). From there, a rivalry and an obvious love interest is created. The ending tries to be pure adrenaline. And a formula in the mold of the romantic comedies of the 40’s that Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy so deliciously immortalized. Even though it is an easy movie to watch, with the antagonistic types of Roberts and Nalte rounding out some good moments, the script moves forward in a bain marie, gathering banal clichés.
