Four stories are told here. The first features written by Ram V, Red Hood using his detective skills pursues a new team The Vigil, but they manage to get away. There’s a character that transmutes, an acrobat, and someone with electrical power. Amazing artwork by Lalit Kumar Sharma.
Second story, Flatline has the ability to absorb the powers of those who die, she begins to hear a voice calling her, when Flatline finally finds the source of the voice she is hearing. She opens a vase containing Ra’s al Ghul’s ashes and he materializes in front of her.
In the third story, and by Amanda Waller and Dead Eye, the two played a game of chess in the astral plane. When a Lazarus Storm begins, Everyman is transformed into Amalgam Man with new and hideous powers. Deadeye is also affected by Lazarus Resin, a blue energy that now emanates from his hands. Waller envies Everyman behind Dead Eye.
The final story we are with Red Canary, a normal college student, with Lazarus Storms start and she gets a message from her brother about wild pigs. When she arrives at the market, she sees several statues come to life terrorizing the citizens, but the Red Canary doesn’t have any special powers other than her fighting skills.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Once again Lazrus Planet uses a lot of different storylines, my problem with that is that we don’t give it enough time and depth to really care about these new characters.
