Synopsis of the Movie
In New Orleans lives Danny Fisher (Elvis Presley), a young man who had been involved with gangs. Danny works as a bar singer at night, becoming a great success. Until he is forced to sing in a gangster’s nightclub.
Movie review
In his first film (often his best), Elvis was played by James Dean, and he did a great job playing a cabaret singer in an old theater in New Orleans. James Dean does a great job as a criminal cabaret singer in New Orleans. In addition to the ballad and ‘Love Me Tender’, it also features the explosive ‘Trouble’. Adapted from the book by Harold Robbins.
