The short version

Exit Nerd collects the minimum data needed to sell you a guide and send you emails you asked for. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across the internet, and we don't do anything weird with your information.

What we collect

• When you buy the Guide: Your name, email address, and payment information. Payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• When you sign in to the Guide: Your email address, sign-in timestamps, and a session cookie that keeps you signed in. Sign-in links are single-use and expire quickly.
• When you sign up for the checklist: Your first name and email address. This is handled by our email service provider.
• When you visit the site: Basic analytics data (pages visited, referral source, country). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

How we use it

• — To deliver Guide access after purchase and keep you signed in when you return
• — To send you the free checklist if you signed up for it
• — To send occasional emails about Exit Nerd content (only if you opted in)
• — To understand how people use the site so we can make it better

Third-party services

We use the following services that may process your data:

• Stripe — payment processing (their privacy policy)
• Mailgun — transactional email (purchase and sign-in links)
• Email service provider — checklist delivery and list management
• Hosting provider — website hosting and delivery

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone else.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies necessary for functionality. If you buy the Guide, a single session cookie keeps you signed in to your copy; signing out removes it. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. If you want your data deleted entirely, email us and we'll take care of it.

Changes

This policy may be updated occasionally. We'll note the date at the top when we do.
