1. Overview

This website is operated by Aaron Bailey under the name Exit Nerd. By accessing exitnerd.com or purchasing a product, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity and permission required where you live. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. Products

Exit Nerd sells digital products, including "The Exit Nerd Guide to Moving Your Tech Abroad" (the "Guide"). The Guide is delivered as online access after a successful payment. Access is personal, tied to the purchase email, and may not be shared. "Ongoing access" means access while Exit Nerd continues to operate and offer the Guide; it is not the lifetime of the purchaser and does not guarantee that the site, every feature, or every recommendation will exist forever.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, digital purchases are non-refundable after access is delivered. Contact hello@exitnerd.com if access was not delivered, the purchase was duplicated, or the product is materially unavailable. A full refund or unresolved payment dispute may result in access being revoked. Partial refunds and resolved disputes are handled according to the remaining valid purchase and applicable law.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Exit Nerd does not store your credit card information. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4. Intellectual Property

Exit Nerd owns or licenses the original text, design, graphics, and application code it provides. Open-source software, third-party trademarks, quoted material, and linked resources remain subject to their respective owners and licenses. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish the paid Guide or a substantial portion of it without written permission.

You are purchasing a personal license for your own use. One purchase, one person.

5. Disclaimer

The Guide provides general information about technology setup for Americans moving abroad. It is not legal, financial, or tax advice. Laws, services, and products change — Exit Nerd makes no guarantee that every recommendation will work in every country at every point in time.

Exit Nerd is not affiliated with any bank, carrier, VPN provider, or software company mentioned in the Guide or on this website.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and Guide are provided "as is" without implied guarantees that a recommendation will remain available or fit every destination. Exit Nerd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the site or Guide. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow a business to exclude.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated for future use of the service. Material changes will be dated on this page. Changes do not remove consumer rights or rewrite a completed purchase where applicable law prevents it.
